Temperament:

Opie is a versatile and well-behaved dog. He can share and steal toys, entertain himself, and remains non-aggressive. When faced with unknown foes or objects, Opie is cautious yet curious. He confidently and respectfully interacts with people and other dogs at the dog park. Opie has even managed to get the old dogs in our house to play, and when they don't want to, he apologizes by lying on his back. While he can be protective, it is a low level and easily corrected through training. Opie knows when to be wary and when to feel safe, as demonstrated when a large barking dog passed by without him reacting. Overall, Opie is a well-managed and discerning dog.
